The Merseyside Branch was near to closure in 2007
due to the lack of membership having only 10 WW 2 Veterans as its membership,
A recruitment drive in 2008 started by 2 ex 1RTR members was very successful
in boosting its membership and now totals 73 and continues to grow ensuring the Branch will continue
forward for many years to come.
The Branch is not only for the Royal Tank Regiment but welcomes all serving and ex personnel
of the armed forces for futher information
